Our Story

In the heart of the verdant valley of Haripur, a radiant young woman named Meera was set to embrace motherhood. Her humble abode, shared with her loving family, resonated with excitement. She dreamt of tiny feet running around her cottage, filling their world with joy and laughter. However, as her due date neared, Meera started to experiencing unpredictable contractions, sometimes agonizingly intense, sometimes distressingly mild. The family, relying on age-old traditions, sought guidance from the village dai. Though well-intentioned, the healer couldn’t interpret her symptoms. One sad evening, Meera’s pain became overwhelming but her labour’s progress stalled.
The baby was in distress, but without any expert help, the dai remained oblivious. When dawn painted the sky, Haripur’s awaited joy turned into its deepest sorrow. Meera succumbed to complications, and her baby, trapped in a prolonged labor, couldn’t survive either.

It is stories like Meera’s that fuel ProjectLife Foundation’s mission. We envision a world where every mother, regardless of her location or means, has the right to safe motherhood. Our ecosystems and collaborations aim to prevent such heart-wrenching tales, ensuring that every baby’s cry is heard, and every mother’s arms are filled with warmth.

For ProjectLife Foundation, it’s not just about technology; it’s about life, hope, and a future where every mother and child thrive.
